I would give more than 5 stars if I could. I booked Roxie last minute for my wedding because my original artist was unprofessional, untrustworthy, and not up to par. I would say the OPPOSITE for Roxie and her work.

I did not have a trial with her because I cancelled my original MOA last minute, which by the way was the best decision I made because it led me to Roxie! She was communicative and extremely flexible with my schedule. She even rescheduled her appointments for my wedding day because she knew I was in a bind.

She showed up on my wedding day early with the most calm & easy & fun energy and absolutely blew me away with her make up skills — without a trial!!!!

I had to try my hardest not to cry when it was done because I didn’t want to ruin my make up but I was truly overwhelmed with relief and gratitude and a ton of self love looking in the mirror afterward. She did that!!!

She made me feel confident and so feminine in my own skin with her make up skills. If I recall correctly, I didn’t change a single thing when she was done. Second reminder — without a trial run! Bonus points she takes excellent content.

Most important — makeup stayed all. day. long. From early morning until 2am next morning. 20/10. If you do not book you will seriously regret it.

Trusting someone to do your makeup on such an important day is no easy decision. I searched and searched for someone I could 1.Afford 2. Trust 3. Listen and Roxie exceeded them all. The moment we met for my trial, she was so kind and patient. Naturally I’m indecisive. Roxie took the time to help me navigate what I wanted for my wedding makeup - she walked me through the process and even took her time during our trial to make me feel comfortable. On my wedding day, she was so professional, and listened to each and every one of my bridal party to achieve the look they wanted. And the end result was stunning, everyone’s beauty was enhanced while sticking to their natural beauty. My makeup held the test of time, even through tears, drizzling rain and sweating on the dance floor.

Hello Roxanna, I was introduced to your work from my cousin who was one of your former brides. It was really important to me to work with a makeup artist who understood how to apply makeup for women who are from diverse backgrounds and have different skin tones. You were wonderful to work. All of my bridesmaids and moms enjoyed working with you because you were attentive to their needs and did such a wonderful job. I recommend you to all of my friends and family who may be looking for makeup artists. The only feedback I had was that I wish my makeup was done a little earlier in the day? I was new to wedding planning because I was never even a bridesmaid before I was a bride, so I scheduled myself later in the day. This caused a delay with my hair stylist and I felt rushed. So any insight on when a bride should get makeup done when she also has 4 bridesmaids and 2 moms who are also getting service would have helped with scheduling.

It's hard to come across a make up artist that actually listens and follows through with what you want (especially as an Asian). From small events to even my wedding day, Roxie always pulls through and exceeds my expectation. Because of her great work, people continue to refer her which says a lot about her. Roxie was so great to work with on my elopement day! She helped make the day so smooth and I couldn’t be happier with the way my makeup turned out! Roxi was an amazing choice for an MUA for my wedding day! She executed the natural-glam look I was hoping for. I wanted to make sure I looked like myself on our wedding day, but photo ready. Our trial was great, got across the look I was going for, and had a few small tweaks for wedding day that she adjusted no problem. The makeup held up very well even through a very hot June wedding with lots of dancing. She also made my bridesmaids and MOB very comfortable and beautiful. Highly recommend!

Roxie was absolutely amazing - I was very particular about wanting a more natural look (compared to the overtop sparkly glam artists I kept finding) - Roxie is so skilled at highlighting your natural features, keeping it looking like YOU (but better!!). Roxana was amazing throughout the whole process, from the in-home house call for the trial to the entire wedding day. I don’t usually wear lots of makeup and Roxana made me not only feel comfortable but I couldn’t believe how natural yet elevated I felt on the day of my wedding. I still felt like I looked like myself, just more glamourous. My bridesmaid and I even commented to each other, “Oh my god, we never look this good!” I felt great and the entire wedding party looked amazing. I would hire her again and again for any event I have.

Imagine this… Cancun heat and my wedding makeup stayed on ALL day AND night! Not only did Roxiie do my wedding makeup but also my entire wedding party’s (10 pp). She was fully prepared to take on the challenge of our different styles and face textures. We were all extremely satisfied and dream about having Roxiie doing our makeup again. She carefully evaluated our faces, listened to our preferences and perfectly delivered our wants by enhancing our natural features with a nice glam. Roxie made the process so easy from start to finish! After talking and sending pictures back and forth, we scheduled my trial for the day of my bridal shower. At first, we both liked the day of the shower's look but then we both actually felt the same about changing the look a bit on the day of the wedding. With a few more pictures and discussion, on the day of the wedding, I was absolutely in love with my makeup!
